The Sound of Thunder and The Simpsons had a few
similarities and some differences. In both they went back
intime. They both went back in time while the dinosaurs were
still on the Earth. They both had a character that did
something stupid that changes the future. When they were
there and the first time they did something Eckels and Homer
both killed a bug and changed the future. But there were alot
of differences. One was that Eckels only went back in time
once with a time machine like a car, but Homer went back in
the past many times and used a toaster for a time machine.
Also in the end Homer was not shot and killed like Eckels.
Eckels had to pay to go into the past and Homer did it
accidentally. Eckels went in the past to go hunting but Homer
went back first by accident and the next time he went back to
change the future.
